Diverse Children's Books

True to this week's podcast topic, Diversifying Our Home Libraries (episode 4) here is a list of 25 fantastic, well-researched books about people of color, people with disabilities, and how we can learn to respect & love everyone. I believe children's books provide an excellent opportunity to help children make text-to-self or text-to-world connections. Books can also facilitate discussions about hard and confusing topics. Our children need to understand how they can make this world a better place, & it is our job to teach them by reading by example!
