I have a son who thinks construction vehicles are pretty awesome. To make this post even more authentic, I will post a picture of him on a stray excavator we found by the side of the road two weeks ago. :) 
Of all the construction vehicles, excavators are definitely his favorite (and he will correct you if you call it a "digger.") He also loves to sing along to Blippi's "Excavator" & "Tractor" songs.
